Gruntz

Myself and a couple friends got in another game of Gruntz yesterday.  Had a blast even though I lost.  We had 150 points to a side with an assortment of infantry and vehicles.  I didn't execute my plan at the game's start when I got distracted by what I thought were easy targets and didn't fully make use of what was my best asset in the form of the heavy walker.

    1. Yeah, I'm really enjoying Gruntz, we've been just using the igo ugo format, but I'm anxious to try out alternating and card activation, too.

    1. Thanks! Painting and modelling is 90% of this hobby to me, the games are just a bonus.

    1. I'm really liking some of the AT-43 stuff, the walkers especially, which are fairly scaleless and make great super heavy units.

  5. Hey Jeff,

Who did the buildings in the pics or are those custom builds?

    1. Mixed custom with some Gamecraft ruins. The communications shanty next to the AT-43 walker in the bottom pic is sratch-built from cardstock, with a couple ZOD bits to make the com uplink.

The ruins in the pics are from gamecraft with embellishment and the storage container is an unidentified resin piece I picked at Dragonflight last year
